Role Summary Four Seasons Hotel New York is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join their team. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Housekeeping Department, taking charge in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping/Assistant Director and reporting all matters that may affect the running of the department to the Director of Housekeeping. Responsibilities Check the manning levels in accordance with occupancy to ensure the Housekeeping Department is adequately staffed at all times and that over or understaffing is avoided. Supervise work assignments in order to ensure maximum coverage and productivity. Daily inspect rooms and provide performance feedback on the spot. Personally inspect the rooms of VIP guests, GH guests, Elite guests and most regular guests to ensure that all housekeeping cleaning and maintenance standards are met and that the room is set up to the preferences of the guest if known. Check that all team members are correctly dressed and in line with the Four Seasons Grooming Standards. Make recommendations and follow through on disciplinary action for assigned staff. Spot check all areas under Housekeeping control to ensure areas are cleaned and maintained to Four Seasons standards, report areas of concern and take corrective action. Monitor the performance of all colleagues in the department and ensure sufficient supplies on the guest floors and the hallways are maintained according to standards. Conduct bi‑weekly inventories of all guest and operating supplies and raise Purchase Orders to maintain par levels in storerooms. Qualifications High School or college preferred. Minimum two years in a housekeeping equivalent position. Good oral and written English communication skills. Previous Housekeeping/Laundry experience in a similar environment. Schedule & Hours This is a full‑time, on‑site role that requires flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and AM/PM shifts.
