Job Description

About the Role:
Eagles Mere Country Club is seeking a dynamic, personable Lead Bartender to oversee our bar program and provide exceptional service to members and guests. This role blends hands-on bartending with leadership responsibilities, offering the opportunity to shape the beverage experience in a vibrant private club setting. Success in this position looks like: maintaining a lively, welcoming bar atmosphere, delivering consistently high-quality service, and mentoring seasonal staff to uphold club standards. As part of our Food & Beverage team, the Lead Bartender plays a key role in enhancing the member experience and supporting the club’s reputation for excellence. This is more than a bartending role—it’s a lifestyle opportunity in one of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful resort towns.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
- Craft cocktails and serve beverages with creativity, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Train, mentor, and support seasonal bartenders and service staff.
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering, organization, and cost controls.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage leadership team to develop drink menus and elevate the overall dining experience.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits; mixology expertise a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a member-focused mindset.
- Ability to thrive in both a fast-paced summer season and quieter off-season.
- Must be RAMP certified or willing to obtain certification prior to start date.
- Prior experience in private clubs, resorts, or fine dining preferred.
What we Offer:
-Free housing for qualified candidates.
- Seasonal or year-round employment (peak season: May–September).
- Competitive hourly wage plus gratuities.
- A supportive, team-oriented environment in a prestigious private club.
- The opportunity to live and work in Eagles Mere, a historic resort town surrounded by natural beauty.
- Access to club amenities.

Schedule: Full-time during peak season (May–September); part-time during off-season as scheduled

If you’re a motivated hospitality professional who brings energy, leadership, and creativity behind the bar, we’d love to hear from you.

Salary/Compensation: $30,000 - $50,000 per year
