Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the Director of Advanced Clinicals, the CPOE Educator/Data Quality Coordinator assumes responsibility for and coordinates all functions as it relates to Meditech CPOE Data and the Advanced Clinicals Department. In collaboration with other members of the clinical team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment, validation, and quality of CPOE data.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: 

• Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the competency validation checklist(s) 
• Demonstrates age specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care of patients 
• Ensures the privacy of our patient and confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives as listed on the Performance Management Plan 
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills, documents all patient care, promotes customer service initiatives and promotes and exhibits teamwork 
• Complies with hospital policies/procedures and patient safety initiatives 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree
• 2 years RN experience in an acute care setting required
