Embody NISSC IIIs values of readiness and reliability-help drive communications, command, and crisis response from this legendary stronghold!/ppResponsibilities:/pulliProvides advanced technical leadership and expertise for the Alternate National Military Command Center (ANMCC), managing daily onsite 8x5 support and 24/7/365 on-call system administration and user support to ensure mission system availability and operator effectiveness./liliOversees the execution of:/liliManagement and reporting/liliSystem administration/liliVulnerability management/liliO-Level maintenance/liliTest support tasks in full compliance with technical manuals, security protocols, and government standards./liliDelivers remote troubleshooting and support for Strategic PDS-Ms at connected off-site locations, guaranteeing operational continuity even when the primary on-site individual is not present./liliAnalyzes incident data and operational trends to enhance service delivery./liliPrepares and validates all required deliverables-such as continuity binders, metrics inputs, incident and outage reports, and technical documentation./liliEstablishes best practices and continuous improvement standards for all ANMCC mission assurance operations./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliBachelors degree or equivalent DoD/military training/lili7-10 years of experience/liliAbility to work with highly sensitive and classified DoD systems and information/liliCollect, analyze, and report surveillance and performance metrics/liliPrepare meeting agendas, materials, minutes, and monthly task reports/liliMaintain documentation for OM roles, continuity binders, and procedures/liliDocument issues and propose/support corrective actions and system changes (including Deficiency Reports, Artifact Defects, and AFTO Form 22 recommendations)/liliManage and track System Administration/User Support actions via Incident Reports (IR)/liliConduct standup meetings; interface with local government coordinators for workload prioritization/liliCreate, manage, and delete user/group accounts and security policies/liliProvide one-on-one and remote technical support across multiple sites and systems (including via phone/email/remote logon)/liliProactive monitoring of system and link performance; rapid troubleshooting and restoration/liliPerform system backups, restores, startups, shutdowns, error detection, log analysis, and recovery/restoration in line with applicable Technical Manuals and procedures/liliSupport for remote and telephonic IT assistance/liliSupport for installation, test events, site prep, validation, and system integration activities/liliExecute maintenance per technical documentation, and coordinate with Remedy or site-specific work order systems as applicable/liliPerform ISSO (Information System Security Officer) duties per DoDI 8500.01; monitor and remediate system vulnerabilities/liliUpdate antivirus signatures, analyze threats, implement vulnerability management plans, and report security event artifacts/liliEnsure timely implementation of IAVMs, CTOs, and threat assessments/li/ulpCertifications / Clearance:/pulliTop Secret (TS) security clearance/liliDoD 8570/8140 baseline certification for Information Assurance Technical roles is typically required (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or similar)/li/ulpOther Qualifications:/pulliAbility to operate independently and as part of a cross-functional OM team/liliExperience supporting 24x7 mission operations or on-call technical support in classified environments/liliAbility to interface with multiple stakeholders, including military, government civilians, and contractors/liliDocumentation, communication, and process improvement skills/li/ulpPay Transparency Statement: American Systems is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners.
