Job Description Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with month-end close and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to grow in the accounting field. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, and customer payments Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Help maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Provide audit support and gather required documentation Perform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships accepted) Strong understanding of GAAP Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience with ERP systems Knowledge of bank reconciliations, accrual accounting, and fixed assets
