The core responsibilities of this role include: Drives equipment, such as tractors and straight trucks to transport goods or equipment to and from designated locations. Makes decisions in sequencing schedule to maintain efficient loading and unloading operations. Loads and unloads trailers and verifies product count. Maintains a clean and safe docking area.
Position: Yard Driver NON-DOT
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 4:00pm- 12:30am | Peak Season 4:00pm - 2:30am
Pay: $21.30
Additional incentives: All full time employees are eligible to qualify for monthly attendance bonuses.
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Accurate and effective communication with the Shipping Transportation Departments and may be required to operate MHE equipment (forklift/clamp) and do so in a safe and efficient manner.

Role Purpose :
Drives switching equipment, tractors, and straight trucks to transport goods or equipment to and from designated locations. Makes decisions in sequencing schedule to maintain efficient loading and unloading operations. Loads and unloads trailers and verifies product count. Maintains a clean and safe docking area and reports any maintenance or safety issues to supervision. Refuels vehicles on site and documents locations and condition of equipment.
